BOOT"S LANDSCAPING was founded in 1981 by Gerald Boot, CLP.
Gerald
was introduced
to the Landscape Industry as a young lad spending
parts of his summers helping
his grandfather and uncles in the family’s
grounds maintenance business located
in Hamilton, Ontario. That early
love for the outdoors and the care for our
environment never left him.
After high school Gerald worked with a Richmond Hill
landscape
maintenance company during which he received a diploma in horticulture
from Humber College. He received his certified landscape professional
designation as soon as the program was launched. He currently serves
the company
as its President and is the manager of the snow and ice
services department.
The Landscape Design Build Department is managed by Jack VandeRee,
CHT. Jack also got a taste of horticulture as a youngster while working
for his uncle who had a Landscape Company just north of Toronto.
After attending Humber College for three years, Jack joined Boot's
Landscaping in 1986. Jack was one of the first in Ontario to become
a Certified Horticulture Technician. He currently serves the company as
its vice-president and manager of the Design/Build Landscape Construction
Department.
